1. Driving Yourself

LCCT is located 54km from Kuala Lumpur city centre. If you decide to drive to LCCT, you can read the following guide.  If you are travelling along the Elite or PLUS Highway, turn off at the exit to the KLIA.

From Kuala Lumpur, you can use the following highway and you can easily see many sign to KLIA :

  • North Central Link Expressway,
  • North South Expressway Central Link (NSECL – ELITE),
  • Lebuhraya Shah Alam (KESAS Highway),
  • Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP Highway).

When you are about to reach LCCT, you will see many signboard of LCCT, in case you miss it look for signboards that say “Kargo”, “Pos Malaysia” and “MASKargo”.  The LCC-T is located next to the Pos Malaysia warehouse.

From Sg Besi to KLIA Toll Plaza: RM 7.70 for cars, RM 4.10 for taxis
From Jalan Duta to KLIA Toll Plaza: RM 9.10 for cars, RM 4.70 for taxis
From Putrajaya Link to KLIA Toll Plaza: RM 4.30 for cars, RM 2.40 for taxis

2. Taxi

They are 3 type of taxi in LCCT known ad budget and premier and family taxi. Just like other airport, you can easily find taxi/cabs when you reach the departure terminal. For a guide the estimated cost for a trip to Kuala Lumpur city centre (per trip) is as follows :

  • Budget taxi will : RM59.90
  • Premier taxi : RM92
  • Family taxi : RM138.

3. Bus and coach

The cheapest option to get you to LCCT is by using the bus and coach.  SkyBus service will ply between the terminal and KL Sentral half-hourly, charging RM9 each way.

4. Express Rail Link (ERL)

ERL is one of the fastest way to reach LCCT or KLIA. There are 2 type of ERL available as follows :

KLIA Transit
is a rapid transit service designed specially for commuters and airport personnel. Just like KLIA Ekspres, this train service shares the same tracks as the KLIA Ekspres connecting KLIA andKuala Lumpurcity centre. KLIA Transit however makes 3 quick intermediate stops along key townships – Bandar Tasik Selatan, Putrajaya & Cyberjaya and Salak Tinggi. 35.00 (adult) / 15.00 (child)

Once you are at KLIA or Salak Tinggi station, there are feeder bus service to take you to the LCCT. Please see type of bus service under Bus above.

Those travelling by KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit – the two high-speed train services linking KL Sentral with KL International Airport – can also catch a shuttle bus from airport to the new terminal at RM1.50 each. The bus plies every 20 minutes.

5. KTM Komuter

KTM komuter photo Transportation to LCCTAnother cheap option and reliable is by using the KTM Komuter. The KTM Komuter is a fast and efficient public transport catering especially to commuters in Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding suburban areas. Please take note, KTM Komuter are not recommended at all during peak hour as the train is uses by thousand of people to commute office daily.

The nearest KTM Komuter station is Nilai. The fare between KL Sentral and Nilai Komuter Station is RM4.70. From Nilai Station you can either take taxi or feeder bus to LCCT which is 15 minutes away from Nilai station.
